(Big10 Friendship Golf Tournament )
先日10月4日に茨城県牛久の金乃台ゴルフ場にて開催された第19回
Big10ゴルフ親睦会につきまして、服部理事より以下のご報告がありましたので、共有いたします。

当日は小雨の中、7校から計26名の参加を得て、和やかな雰囲気のもとプレーと交流を楽しむことができました。
大会の結果は以下の通りです。

Indianaチームは、山崎会員（Bus. 1980）と今回初参加の生嶋会員（Bus. 2003）がともにグロス93でプレーし、昨年の最下位から見事脱出されました。
来年はさらに多くの若手会員の皆様が参加し、上位を目指していただけることを期待しております。

Thank you as always for your continued support of the IU Japan Chapter.
We are pleased to share the following report from Mr. Hattori regarding the 19th Big10 Friendship Golf Tournament held on October 4 at Kinnodai Golf Club in Ushiku, Ibaraki.

Despite light rain, a total of 26 participants from seven schools enjoyed both golf and fellowship in a friendly atmosphere.
The tournament results are as follows:

For the Indiana team, Mr. Yamazaki (Bus. 1980) and first-time participant Mr. Ikushima (Bus. 2003) both played with a gross score of 93, successfully moving the team up from last year’s bottom ranking.
We look forward to seeing more young members join next year and aim for even higher placements.

まだまだ暑い日が続いておりますが、皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
今年も、BIG TEN懇親ゴルフ大会がいよいよ開催されます！幹事校は名門University of Michigan。毎年恒例のこの大会は、腕前に関係なく、ゴルフを通じて同窓の仲間と楽しく交流できる絶好の機会です。
名門コースでのプレー、懐かしい再会、新たな出会い、美味しい食事と表彰式――ゴルフ好きはもちろん、久しぶりにクラブを握る方にもぴったりです。
「ちょっと行ってみようかな？」 という気持ちがあればぜひご参加ください！

現在、IUからは2名（山崎会員、服部理事）が参加予定です。

Expect a great day of play, lively conversations, delicious food, and a fun awards party. If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe I’ll give it a try this year”, now is the perfect time!

Currently, IU has two participants (Mr. Yamazaki and Mr. Hattori), and we are looking forward to welcoming many more.

先月26日(土)に行われた第18回BIG10 ゴルフ大会に参加した服部理事より報告がありましたので、お知らせいたします。

今回は7校32名（うち女性3名）のゴルフ愛好者が集まり、和やかな雰囲気の中でプレーと交流を楽しみました。
学校対抗戦（上位3名の合計スコア）ではミシガン大学チームが優勝を果たしました。

We would like to share with you the report from Director Hattori, who participated in the 18th BIG10 Golf Tournament held on Saturday, the 26th of last month.

I am reporting the results of the 18th BIG10 Golf Tournament held on October 26th at Chiba Country Club.
This year, 32 golf enthusiasts from 7 schools (including 3 women) gathered, enjoying play and fellowship in a warm atmosphere. In the inter-school competition (based on top 3 players’ total scores), the University of Michigan team emerged victorious.
Participant count by school:
1 Michigan (6) 2 Northwestern (6) 3 Michigan State (6) 4 Purdue (4) 5 Minnesota (5) 6 Illinois (5) 7 Indiana (2)
The Indiana University team showed effort, with Tsutomu Yamazaki (’80 Business) scoring an impressive 91 gross, while I (Hattori) unfortunately dragged the team to the bottom position.
I hope to practice more and perform better next year. Those interested are welcome to contact me.

第17回BIG10ゴルフは10月28日（土）に埼玉県高麗川カントリークラブで開催されたました。
幸い天候に恵まれ、7校２６名（Indianaは２名）が参加し、ゴルフと相互の親睦を楽しむことができました。
団体戦は昨年に続きNorth Western大が、また個人戦はミネソタ大の８１才の同窓生が優勝しました。

■ 第16回 BIGTEN 懇親ゴルフ大会 結果のご報告 （Sep.19, 2022）
9月19日に開催されたゴルフ大会の結果をご報告します。
今回は台風14号の影響にもかかわらずBig Ten9校から37名のゴルフ好きが集まりプレーを楽しむと共に各校会員相互の親睦を図りました。
スタート時は晴れていましたが残念なことに途中から雨が強くなり９ホールで打ち切りとなりました。
大学団体戦はNorthwesternが初優勝（次回の幹事校）を飾りました。Indiana大の参加者は１名で団体戦３名以上の参加基準を満たすことができませんでした。
次回はより多くの参加者を期待しています。

■ 第15回 BIGTEN 懇親ゴルフ大会 結果のご報告 （Oct.16, 2021）
10月16日に大利根カントリークラブで開催されたBIG10ゴルフは9校38名のAlumniが参加しプレーを楽しみました（写真添付）。
IU同窓会からは私と 山崎勉会員が参加しました。学校対抗戦の優勝はOhio Stateで、IUは残念ながら最下位に終わりました。次回は頑張りたいと思います。
